Random scenario test drive meme! For all you thinking about apping to our fair game. Because all our characters are the modern reincarnates of the people we canon reviewed for, you need a modern AU! Post your character with a couple details about who they are now. Use a prompt to set the scene! And tag around.

RAIN: The weather sucks and you gotta share a bus stop, overhang, or other cozy space with someone.

MONSTERS IN THE PARK: Doesn't really matter what they are, it's time to run and/or fight!

NEW ECHO: augh you were minding your own business in public and now you have feathers for hair, or you just had a vivid flashback to being a wizard, or suddenly you have your preincarnation's clothes on. Someone help! Or point and laugh, that works too.

NORMAL DAY AT THE MALL OR WHEREVER: Slice of life happens too!

WILD CARD: You can't be contained by these paltry prompts! Get out there and combine them or make your own!
moonlitblade: (Wouldn't it be great?)

No, I'm okay. I'm pretty tough. I'd be more worried about you, but everything seems like it's in the right place.

[When she returns the umbrella, he shakes it out a little before returning it to its old position over his head, shifting a little to cover her as well.] Here, stay close. There's enough space for two.

I'm tougher than I look! [She says it quickly, realizing belatedly that might not be what a girl really wants and instead of saying anything more on that she smiles at him and takes the shelter from the rain.]

Thank you.
moonlitblade: (Sounds good to me.)

[personal profile] moonlitblade 2013-11-09 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
With balance like that, it's probably a good thing. [He's smiling - he didn't mean it as an insult, just a casual observation.]

You're welcome. It's not like I need the extra space, anyway.
keywarding: <user name="crysella" site="livejournal.com"> (You dry my eyes)

[She starts to react, something obviously ingrained in her after years of her elder siblings making fun of her ability to trip over herself at the worst times- but thankfully she keeps it down to just a quick intake of breath before she clearing her throat and scratching at the back of her neck.]

You're on the soccer team, right?

[New subject! Something that won't let her show off her balance or lack there of.]
moonlitblade: (That's what I wanted.)

[personal profile] moonlitblade 2013-11-09 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
[The abrupt change of topic tells him he probably ought not have said that. Oops. But really, what are girls' feelings?]

Yeah, I am. Everyone says I'm pretty good, but it's really just something I enjoy doing.

[His free hand goes to the back of his head; it's a topic that comes up often enough, but he doesn't normally talk about it like this.]

[It might sound like bragging to others but Holly doesn't hear that way. She continues to smile, nodding to his statement]

You are pretty good. I get to watch practices sometimes when I'm stretching.
moonlitblade: (Do you really think so?)

[personal profile] moonlitblade 2013-11-09 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
That's right, you're on the track team. I remember now. Um, thank you. Sorry, I don't actually get to watch your practices that much, since I'm on the field all the time. [A pause.] Maybe I should start. You're probably pretty good. [What with how fast she was coming in earlier and all.]
keywarding: <user name="crysella" site="livejournal.com"> (She sings a simple song)

[personal profile] keywarding 2013-11-09 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
[She brightens up at that. Nodding quickly.] I get more time to relax in my practices, only so many of us can run at once. [She excuses him not really watching them like they watched the boys, some of the girls liked it that way honestly speaking. Tilting her head at the mention of her being good though and she's laughing.] Well- if you want to watch we're having a meet this weekend. In best in the 200 meter. I'm not the fastest but I'm getting better.
moonlitblade: (Not a problem.)

[personal profile] moonlitblade 2013-11-09 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
[Yeah, this one's the sort that values a person being able to do what they like. An oddball, these days, apparently.]

Mm, that makes sense. And that might be fun, honestly... is it at the school, or somewhere else? [Part of him wants to make sure she doesn't get beaten up for winning or something, but he really does want to go and watch to support her.]
keywarding: <user name="crysella" site="livejournal.com"> (Will you break)

[personal profile] keywarding 2013-11-09 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
[She perks up even more, if that were possible.] It's at the school. We have- I guess home field advantage.. though we don't use the field really.

[She has the pep of a cheerleader, and probably does attract trouble sometimes. Despite that her outlook is always good] When's your next game? I know a few of the girls are going but I never got a date out of them.
moonlitblade: (You'll do fine.)

[personal profile] moonlitblade 2013-11-09 03:09 pm (UTC)(link)
It's a relative term; it still counts. And I don't have practice or anything that day, so I think I will come watch.

The soccer team? We play... I think it's Friday afternoon? [With a brief motion, he pulls a small datebook from his back pocket, flipping it open.] Yeah, Friday. That's a home game for us, too. The other team's pretty good, but I think we can take 'em.
keywarding: <user name="crysella" site="livejournal.com"> (So I call your name)

[personal profile] keywarding 2013-11-09 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh good! I don't have anything planned for Friday yet. I'll come to your game! [Like he pulls out a datebook, she pulls out a sky blue cased smart phone, her pride and joy. With so many siblings this was a christmas and birthday gift.]

And you're in.

[Looking up she smiles.] You guys are really good, I'm sure you'll beat them!
moonlitblade: (Brilliant.)

[personal profile] moonlitblade 2013-11-11 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
[Ooh, high-tech. Ethan can't be bothered with something like that, but he understands the appeal; there's a pen clipped to the datebook's cover, and he scribbles in the track meet in what looks like a fairly rough hand.]

Sounds good, then. I'll be looking forward to having you in the cheering section. It means a lot to us, really. [Gigawatt smile. He totally means it.]

I don't want to make excuses, whatever happens. We've got a good team, and we'll carry ourselves with pride. If we win, it's because we were the better men. If not... I'll work harder, and I'll ask the same of the rest of the team. And the next time we play these guys, I'll expect the same from them as well, or it'll be different.
keywarding: <user name="crysella" site="livejournal.com"> (Say you're forever)

[personal profile] keywarding 2013-11-11 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
[Laughing, she nods.]

You're really mature, most other guys just go on how amazing they are and how they can't lose at all! [She does an impression of a deep male voice at the end of the sentence to show it's a statement she's heard often.]
