Random scenario test drive meme! For all you thinking about apping to our fair game. Because all our characters are the modern reincarnates of the people we canon reviewed for, you need a modern AU! Post your character with a couple details about who they are now. Use a prompt to set the scene! And tag around.
RAIN: The weather sucks and you gotta share a bus stop, overhang, or other cozy space with someone.
MONSTERS IN THE PARK: Doesn't really matter what they are, it's time to run and/or fight!
NEW ECHO: augh you were minding your own business in public and now you have feathers for hair, or you just had a vivid flashback to being a wizard, or suddenly you have your preincarnation's clothes on. Someone help! Or point and laugh, that works too.
NORMAL DAY AT THE MALL OR WHEREVER: Slice of life happens too!
WILD CARD: You can't be contained by these paltry prompts! Get out there and combine them or make your own!

"It's okay, it won't be too long." She reassured her, even as the little one pouted. Though they were lucky Elise wasn't the type to throw a tantrum easily. She was an easy-going child who seemed to understand the concept of waiting for the most part.
Turning back in her seat, she closed her eyes for a moment.
"I got us the vegetarian spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce. They came as a part of the meal pack." She answered Lucas' question softly, now gazing out of her window.
"And I got us the Singapore noodles, beef with black bean, and Mongolian lamb. That was the smallest deal they had." Yep. There was definitely going to be leftovers.

"Are you alright, dearest?" He asked, just wanting to be certain that she wasn't going to a dark place on him. Not that it was something she would normally do, but as a psychologist aware of the traumas of her past, he couldn't help but keep an eye out for any signs.

"I'm alright, just feeling a little tired. I stayed up a little too late last night." She grinned, squeezing his shoulder. Her actions insisting that she was fine.

Thus the moment he had to stop for a red light, he leaned over and placed a kiss on the side of Hannah's neck.
"If things get too tedious at my folks tonight, we can cut out early. I'll make an excuse about work if I need too. It's not as though they can check."

"Alright. It should be fine, though. It's my own fault for getting hooked on that silly crime show." She laughed, kissing his cheek again just for good measure.

"Looks like she nodded off." He said, nodding his head toward the back seat, where their daughter was fast asleep in her car seat.
"Darling, I know we have just settled down into a routine, now that you working...but have you considered possibly having another child?" He asked as it had been a thought on his mind for a while. They weren't getting any younger and Elise was growing so fast. Plus both he and Hannah had siblings and he found that he wanted that for Elise too.
Though of course, he no intention of pushing the issue. He was merely curious. He was more than willing to accept whatever answer, Hannah gave him on the subject.

Turning in her seat again, she looked at the sleeping Elise with a gentle smile. The poor kid was so excited about toys and the puppies in the pet store they'd visited earlier... She wore herself out. A soft "aw" escaped her lips, and she immediately knew to lower her voice from here on out, so as not to wake her up.
There was a long, thoughtful pause before she answered his question. Of course, she'd thought about it. She wanted Elise to have a sibling. While she didn't have as big a family as Lucas did, she felt it would be good for Elise. After her parents passed away, Hannah had her brother to turn to for comfort. Not that she was thinking that history would repeat itself, but she wanted Elise to have that extra person to potentially turn to as well.
"Of course. Someday, I think it'd be nice. Maybe a boy this time. A little brother for Elise."

As overlooked as he could feel at times in his large family, he still had fond memories of the times he shared with most of his siblings. As much as he wanted to punt two of his brothers, he still couldn't imagine not having them around at all.
"Good, just let me know when you are ready then." He said, glancing over to her with a smile. He could certainly wait until she felt the time was right. It was only fair, since she would be the one to have to carry the baby around for nine months.

"I will. Maybe sometime next year, we can start trying." She answered, looking more than pleased. She couldn't help looking at him with love and adoration.

Though he managed to keep those thoughts of uncertainty and darkness away this time around. He was happy and he wasn't going to let anything ruin that for him. Thus as they reached another stop light, he leaned over and quickly pressed a kiss to her lips.
"Alright then. In the meantime, we can practice." He joked a bit crudely, knowing she'd get his meaning.

Hannah laughed, kissing his cheek and running a finger down his upper arm, looking rather sly and impish all the sudden.
"Practice is good enough."
