Another round of the CR/Plotting Meme with which to begin a new year!

As always, the meme's open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE; there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters - when doing so, please label with characters' reincarnated names (if decided!) and pre-incarnated names and canons in the comments' subject lines.

Pre-Incarnation: Sayvil/Savil Ashkevron

In her pre-incarnation, Sayvil was eldritch horse-like angelic being-thing with psychic/magic powers who in her previous life (which she had mostly total recall of) was a member of the Heralds of Valdemar aka the Magic Horse Special Task Force. She was the SECOND to last Herald-Mage for like thousands of years.

In her current incarnation she's somebody's horse. I don't know whose.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Anybody want a horse?

Open/Wanted CR: Anybody want a horse talking psychically in their head? One that's basically a stubborn middle-aged lady with no patience for fools?

Other Info: Sayvil would be echoing back stuff from both her life as a Companion and her life as Savil, but her final form will remain a magic talking horse-thingy. Her canon can be kind of ridiculous. Also, I'm not entirely sure if Mindspeech would transfer over the network and thus am not entirely sure how playable she is.

Anything Else?: My adolescent self was excessively fond of teenage wish fulfillment fantasy novels with magic talking horses. This is the result of that.

Also, I may or may not app her because I have someone I else I want to app first and also I would need to canon review all three of the Last-Herald Mage books, plus By The Sword first to get a handle on her voice. But. Magic horse thing.

Maybe it'd be possible to echo back just enough of her Savil-life to be able to speak out loud?

Either that or handwave that when she Mindspeeches at the network it gets heard like actual talking.

Yeah. And... it's been a while since I read those books, but isn't it more of an effort to get people without Mindspeech to hear it? In the early books you'd have Heralds without it who almost never heard their Companions talking, and I guess Lackey got tired of that.

Ah, man... By the Sword was my favorite book for so long. Kero~

I figure with some of those Companions both Herald and Companion are just not all that gifted in Mindspeech? Like, there's definitely Heralds without the Mindspeech and they might have got Companions who in life didn't Mindspeech either.

Hahaha, well, my prime Valdemar reading days were fifteen to twenty years ago but yeah, Lackey's a guilty pleasure of mine. Like I said, though, it'll be a while before I'd be able to do Sayvil, I'm just sounding her out right now.

Well, Shou is rich enough and his PB is well-known for his love of white horses to ride all over the place while pretending to be a samurai that he could be talked into taking care of an older horse in the local stables? IDK how that would work out for you since he is also recalling some of his criminal ways and will become a vampire through sheer bad luck on his part in the future.

Dude, I would love to be your horse. You horse which just started to talk to you. I mean, would you want to be the original horse owner or someone to take the horse in after said horse becomes intelligent? Because I'd be fine either way and I can totally see Shou as being the kind of dude who has a horse stashed away at some boarding stable in the Locke vicinity.

(I mean, playing her is gonna be a future event probably a month or more away because there's lots of canon review to do and such, but I think this is a thing I want to happen.)

Well, I'm almost tempted to use a character name from LotR because they are such beautiful sounding names, the elven ones. I just do not want to use a very well-known name if I went that route.

Or he can call her Areonwen which is an old Welsh name meaning 'White, fair, blessed'.

I have a Talia muse, too. She and Zhaneel (and Batverse Harley Quinn) are my main muses and I adore them! If I can hold up my AC I might bring in Talia as well. It'll just be a pain keeping she and Zhaneel from interacting but I've done it before. And god knows Sayvil would be better than no Companion at all. <3
