The Train to STE Meme (SPOILERS for canon deaths)

You know those Train to the Afterlife memes? In STE the canon versions of all our characters are dead. What if there was a train bearing their spirits on to reincarnation here?

This is a meme where canon versions of the characters can interact. They all know they're dead. They may or may not remember just how they died, or how they got to be on this particular train. Doesn't matter if they'll be born decades apart - that just means some people disembark a little earlier than others. Go over brochures about what your new incarnation will be like, spontaneously turn or be human, try the snack cart, fail to convince the friendly but very busy conductor to give you a transfer, or simply chat.

You just can't stop the train, or leave it. Not yet.

Is it like this every time? With the train, and the brochure, and everything...?

More or less, although sometimes you have to ride for a while before you get one of those. I've seen people who never do.

[ Startled at the exclamation, Serah glances over again, eyes widening slightly. ]

What's wrong?

[ Was her brochure defective...? ]

[She opens her own brochure to make sure.]

I thought so! You and I are getting off at the same stop. Around the same time, too.

Locke?

[ Wherever that was. It sounded...well, different. No magic, and no Cocoon. ]

Oh, that's - well, a relief? I didn't know if anyone else was going there, or what to do when I got there.

[ Although she supposes after she gets off it won't matter if she's made a friend or not. ]

We'll have to be sure to try to find each other.

I'll certainly try, although...how much will we be able to remember about this place...?

[And she smiles a bit at this.]

There's someone I keep running into. His name is always different, but he looks the same every time. I'm not sure why, but maybe you and I will be lucky in that regard, too.

[ It reminds her a little of how she'd talk of Snow. ]

[Elly nods with a smile.]

That's right.

I hope I remember the people important to me, even if I don't...well, remember their names or anything else.
