Test Drive Meme!
Scenarios:
> The Park. Man, what a nice day out. Why not enjoy it? I'm sure -- shit, yep, there's some echo monsters.
> The Mall. Exactly what it says on the tin! Dodge the hordes of teenage mallrats or take part, whichever suits your tastes.
> Rainy Day. Agh, it's fucking awful out. And is it raining those vermilion things?? Now you've got an Echo to contend with on top of everything else. Find some shelter, quick!
> PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. HOW FUN
> Arts and Crafts Fair. All the kitschy fun you can imagine.
> Wild Card! Make up your own.

Must. Resist. Petting. Dog...!]
T-Then does he have an address on his collar or something? Or maybe you can turn him into the pol-
[....]
Or you can just put up pictures of him around the city?

Uhhh, maybe...do I have something on my face?

I'm just wondering if there was anything we could to figure out how to get the dog home! That's all!
[Ahahahahaha! Ha...haaaa...
...Oh the awkward]
no subject
Maybe that'd work. I was hoping they'd be somewhere around here first, though. If they've lost this guy, they've gotta be looking for him too.
no subject
Well, hopefully they should be around here! So c'mon, let's go and try to find wherever they went! They shouldn't be too far away if you just found him!
[Heroes to the rescue!]
no subject
Right, let's go! We could go back to the other side and look around again.
no subject
[With that, Anna quickly jumped up and went around to look for the owners!]
So I'll go that way and you go that way? ...But wait, how will we find out without the puppy around?

Do you know where was the first thing you saw the dog? Like what direction was it in or...? The more we know the better!
no subject
[Evan points over towards the other side of the park.]
I was standing by the bridge over the river, and he came from my left. This part of the park was in that direction, but no luck here, obviously.
no subject
That's got to be only other way where they could be if they're still around here!
[...Or that they could have gone home too, Abby. With that, she pointed the other way!] Then let's go that way!

no subject
[And off they go...! Somewhere!] Maybe they'll even be back where they lost him too! [Hooray for epic pointing!]
no subject
[Kind of a scary thought, the idea that someone could have just brought the dog and and abandoned him here. But most people can't be that cruel, and there are still places they haven't looked...]

If only we can actually talk to the dog somehow, it would make things so much easier to be able to find the owners. [She said before patting said puppy]
Who would be so mean to leave you behind? That's just so mean!
no subject
...
The dog barks, and it takes Evan a second to realize he can hear the meaning behind it.]
Huh?
[Wait no, that's impossible. He ignores it.
Abby may notice that Evan is being strangely silent all of a sudden.]
no subject
Something was quiet.
...A little too quiet.]
Uh, you okay there? Heellllooo, here in Locke City? You on Earth there? [Don't mind her waving her hand right in front of you!]
no subject
Uh, right! Sorry. To the bridge, of course!
[He hurries ahead at a quick pace, taking the dog with him.]
no subject
Okay no...]
All right, puppy, go off and do your thing! Go off and see if you can sniff around to see if your owner is here!
[Of course, she can't really talk to the dog but she can try!]
no subject
Yeah! Go on, look for the people who brought you. They should be here somewhere.
[The dog jumps up at him, sniffs him for a moment, and trots off. Evan looks slightly bewildered. Did that work or not...?]
no subject
Nah, it couldn't be....]
I think he really likes you! Haha, I'm not too surprised, you did find him and stuck with him after all this time! I just hope we can find them in time...
no subject
I'm sure we will! They've got to be looking for him too.
no subject
Of course! And besides, we got the police as back up! I'm sure they'll help out a defenseless puppy around! [Even though she doesn't really trust them...
But speaking of which...]
Hey, mind if I ask you something? Have you h- [Before she could even finish her sentence, there was some barking in distance.] Huh? Hey, boy, you got something?
no subject
[Evan glances over at the source of the noise and realizes that the dog is definitely talking. Evan doesn't know if the girl he's with can hear it, but he is definitely understanding that barking. Not that he needs it to hear excited yaps as "Look! I found her," but it's hard to deny that he's getting more out of it than he should.
This is so weird.]
...Heh. Look at that.
no subject
[The girl asked as she tiled her head to the side. Sadly, she can't quite understand what the dog was saying but she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the other male.]
But anyway, I think he might have found something! He's going that way! [She said before running after him! Let's go!]
