It's that time of year again! The unexpected smash-hit television series "Save the Earth" has just wrapped up its first season and once again the cast has returned to the convention world to answer questions, hint at upcoming events, debut showcase trailers, show never-before-seen behind the scenes footage and bloopers, and get up to all sorts of other stuff!


How To Play!
1. This meme assumes that all character canons don't exist in this reality. They've all been created for the show
2. Post with your character. You are now writing the character's "actor" in this strange meta-universe. Include their real name and a little bit about where they came from. Are they a fan favorite? A newcomer to television lucky enough to get their start on such a successful show?
3. Post anonymously (or not) to ask fan questions of other characters! Everything from the ordinary to shipping stuff to creepy and weird. Talk about the show, hint at characters' preincarnations and tease audiences about the crazy stuff future Echoes will bring. Talk about what actors you like to work with and who you can't stand to be around. Tell stories of pranks and shenanigans on set!
4. Or just do whatever you want to do. I don't know. I'm not your boss.

[Remember this little speech from the end of the season finale? Well, you're going to see about seven little clips of Betty White as Granny Curry bursting into laughter at various points as she attempts to deliver her speech.]

[Somewhere along the reel there's several clips of Rakka during the Wise Snake fight. Most of it is her trying to get through the rubble without tripping, and failing to do that. And a few times where she was fighting the (cgi) snakes her staff would end up hitting someone by accident.

Surely the best moment was when it flew from her hands and struck the camera.]

[So that scene in the most recent episode with Melissa and Nick hanging out and getting drunk, where Melissa's hanging upside on the stripper pole? Have a montage of all the times Rachel lost her grip/fell one way or another during that scene. There are a lot.]

[it's the great snake battle. there are cgi snakes, there are falling rubble and there is G in the mockup of his car that is suppose to be going at ridiculous speeds around corners and smacking into snakes. at this moment in time, the technicians were working on some of the rubble that wasn't falling right and G is sitting behind the wheel, making vrooom vroom noises while pretending to turn the wheel, a piece of pocky sticking out of his mouth instead of the cigarette he's smoking in the final scene.]

[it's a flashback scene, the memory of shou asking kei for help and the two bickering a little before kei shoves a cigarette into shou's mouth before someone tries to chop his head off. that part works perfectly, but as shou ducks under the swing, he slips and falls, practically doing the splits. people are being concerned that he's hurt since he's trying to cover his crotch when G starts yelling that his pants split open and he needs a towel or something.]

[So everybody remember Luke's DRAMATIC HORSE RIDING HEROISM??? that I haven't played out yet orz Well Luke's actor (Nicholas Stimpson) had never so much seen a horse in person before this role. So here's a long montage of Nicholas out of costume and out of character learning to ride a horse convincingly enough for his close up shots. There's also a bit with Nicholas sitting and talking with his stunt double who gets his own montage of DRAMATIC HORSE SKILLZ before the two laugh and joke about how nervous Nicholas was initially. One final clip shows Nicholas atop a horse named Slick, kicking and kicking and doing everything he possibly can to try and get it to walk forward while it stands resolutely and flicks its ears in a most unimpressed fashion.]

[Near the end of the horse related shenanigans, there's a clip of Arslan talking about Nicholas and how, while he wasn't around for most of that shooting, the co-stars did swap stories after-the-fact. Arslan explains his last film involved some horseback riding and really, they are big animals. It can be intimidating! He never got paired with a horse quite as stubborn as Slick tho, hehe.]

[Remember this scene? Well, little known fact that Jared actually kicked Richard in the nuts. He had meant to do a stunt kick but completely over shot it. So, that pain on Karl's face is genuine pain.]

[Richie managed to pull through the scene despite being on the brink of tears! Afterwards, he collapsed into the nearest chair, grinned and said that maybe he and his boyfriend will have kids after all because Jared kicked him hard enough to have made a vagina.]

[This clip is from the face off in the middle of the Wise Snake episode where Hajime in his Joker form is menacing Tachibana. The moment is broken, however, when the man pauses, blinking.]

Aaa-- your suit. The arm's lose.

[And indeed, a piece of the Joker costume has come detached and is swinging back and forth from the arm.

Scene forgotten, Takeshi gets up, dusting off his pants before walking over to the giant bug.]

I told you you have to be more careful with these things... Let me see it....

[The big bug angrily stomps over there.]

It's fine! And we were almost done with that take!

It's notfine. [[A very stern look from the former stuntman]] When you're about to do the spring jumps? It could come off and smack someone. [[starts to very carefully fidget with the dangling row of spikes.]] Did you smack into the set or something?

I'm not even doing the spring jumps! They've got Newman set up on the wires for that take! I'm just supposed to menace you!

[He's sort of waving his hands around in a vague "menacing" gesture.]

General onstage shenanigans

[So there is this famous bit of tape on the floor when entering the stage now that clearly states that if any prank toys or things used in pranks are brought on set they will have a private conversation with a police officer. There is no mention as to WHICH type of police officer but still-

And since Lauren and Richie basically have started a war on each other and the other cast and crew, Lauren has to stand on the other side of the line, tossing things at said cast and crew inside the stage.

There is no safe area. She will get you! Little 5'3" girl will beam you in the head with a soft foosball if it at all possible.]

[Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working out so well. Enter Sam!]

Psst, Lauren...!

[He sneaks over to her, crouching down and gesturing for her to get on his shoulders. LET'S GET 'EM!]

Sam, you are a darling!

[She could kiss you and she might just if this works out perfectly. Shifting so her costume doesn't get snagged uncomfortably, she adjusts herself onto his shoulders and up they go!]

I knew it, the air is different up here. [She teases, a hand steadying herself before - aim and FIRE]

[ One very long, careful shot of Jordan as Danny as Skyler in a high school bathroom. scribing the d-i-c-k on his knuckles... and bursting into laughter. LORD. He's remarkably good at imitating Danny on the whole, but this is incredibly silly.

The dickening of the rest of the bathroom and the school hall may have been a cast effort. A team effort. You know. If anyone would like to imply that their cast member contributed a sharpie schlong. ]

[ THE WISE SNAKE BATTLE IS UPON THEM, INTENSE SEASON END IS GO

And Noah is sitting in the rather impressive mock-up of the Unicorn Gundam's cockpit. Though he's been strictly forbidden to tweet pictures of the 1:1 scale build of the thing, for maximum surprise and authenticity, he still looks extra giddy at being able to play around in it. There are camera rigs all around, and it's a green screen backing so they can later add in the panoramic view of Locke with CGI.

They're shooting the pivotal scene where Felix/Eugen intercepts the Wise Snake about to turn the Unicorn into paste. As the scene starts, lights flash, the entire rig jostles and throws him about —

...just a little bit too much.

People are yelling off-screen to cut the power when the pistons decide to go buck-wild, but before they can, Noah's thrown forward with a surprised, "WHOA!" and smacks his face right into the center 'console' of the rig. Everything dies down and there's several expletives from the bottom of the screen as Noah lapses out of accent. Then, everyone sort of just erupts into giggles, himself included. ]

Oh my god, Christ... I told you! [ He peels himself up, face buried in his hands to stop his laughing. It's not working. ] This monster needs airbags!

[ That just causes everyone in the vicinity to go into an uproar. ]

No, really! Did you see that? The thing's crazy! I think it broke my face... am I bleeding?

[ Yeah guess who else broke his face with you, Noah?

No shit, it's Felix who is also involved in the same scene. And he too, despite his usually shy personality is pretty annoyed and is trying not to curse at the mishap. He's a model for the love of god, he can't have a broken face! ]

Can we add seat belts too? Why doesn't this thing has any build in safety measures for pilots?

[ Yeah, like his complain is helping with the uproar, not that he cares since he's busy checking his face. ]

During the scene where Marisa used Master Spark on Alan the enraged Titan. There's a fairly spectacular shot of Rin whipping out the mini-hakkero too hard, losing her grip on it, and sending it flying into the face of one of the crew standing just off screen.

She looks mortified and even runs off to get him some ice before anyone can stop her.

[So for a while, Torin was played by a real parrot. And real animals are always easy to work with, right? Cue blooper reel of the parrot pooping at inappropriate times during filming.

This is why the parrot was replaced by a puppet, people.]

[Insert a montage of Will-as-Gabriel ruining a thousand shots by leaning in as though to kiss people (mostly Thorir's actor) whenever directions call for him to lean in or they share a particularly steamy moment of eye contact. You'd have thought that the joke would get old quickly, but apparently not if his laughter is anything to judge by.]
