Convention Meme Part Deux
It's that time of year again! The unexpected smash-hit television series "Save the Earth" has just wrapped up its first season and once again the cast has returned to the convention world to answer questions, hint at upcoming events, debut showcase trailers, show never-before-seen behind the scenes footage and bloopers, and get up to all sorts of other stuff!
How To Play!
1. This meme assumes that all character canons don't exist in this reality. They've all been created for the show
2. Post with your character. You are now writing the character's "actor" in this strange meta-universe. Include their real name and a little bit about where they came from. Are they a fan favorite? A newcomer to television lucky enough to get their start on such a successful show?
3. Post anonymously (or not) to ask fan questions of other characters! Everything from the ordinary to shipping stuff to creepy and weird. Talk about the show, hint at characters' preincarnations and tease audiences about the crazy stuff future Echoes will bring. Talk about what actors you like to work with and who you can't stand to be around. Tell stories of pranks and shenanigans on set!
4. Or just do whatever you want to do. I don't know. I'm not your boss.

Skyler Veracruz ---> Jordan Gutierrez
[ Ever since Jordan joined the cast halfway through the first season, his popularity has become... Somewhat notorious for being obnoxious, worryingly teenager, and absolutely enormous. The actor himself hasn't changed much from the quietly affable young man he was when he attended his first convention; he spends much of his time sitting in his chair and interjecting only when is opinion is called for. His friendships with several of his costars has only seemed to encourage the easy grins and hugs he seems fond of which go almost unseen in his role as Skyler the cyborg magician thug. It's the fandom that has changed, for better or for worse. It's very big and the very loudest part, not to put too fine a point on it, is obsessed with shipping him with a certain half ghost hero in increasingly worrying ways. He and Danny's actor have done nothing to suppress the shipping, and probably unwittingly caused the whole mess in the first place by being particularly good friends offscreen and having stupid adventures that they tweet every now and then. Add that to the fact they they've been having more and more of their interviews together annnnd yeah.
Jordan is friendly and warm to the fans in one on one situations like autograph sessions, but has a tendency to get a little quieter during the panels. Still, he has several years of theater under his belt and seems to soak up attention very comfortably and with a mildly bewildered sense of humor. ]

Even Octavia's getting in on the shipping! No, shh, it's different! Is that something you two are going to play up in season 2? Should we be on the lookout for something to develop there?

Specifically with the whole Octavia thing... Huh. [ He looks over at Anthony and waggles his eyebrows. ] Should we tell them about the theories we have, or would that be too...? Because it could happen.

I'll just say Skyler and Danny have something very special going on. Now, I don't know about Skyler, but, well--speaking for Danny, at least, this is all new territory for him. He's never been in a relationship quite like this before, and he's never quite experienced feelings for anyone quite like he has for Skyler. He's going to have to do a lot of soul-searching in season 2 to figure out what this all means for him, personally.

He's approaching sort of a - a crossroads, isn't he? Skyler's going through something similar, but he's kind of coming from a different direction. He's been hurt before, you know? So he's looking for something real, but he's not sure if Danny's the one, or even if he's what he's looking for. It's gonna take some time! And some trust. Maybe a fistfight or two. [ He winks after that. He doesn't know if that necessarily means anything, but he knows the fans will find something to gif anyway. Might as well give them what they want. ]
