[So Hajime's been going through this new city with his camera, trying to figure out what in the world is going on with that portal, and...there's Tachibana. Tachibana, drinking coffee. This does not strike Hajime as the proper time or place for coffee.

And yeah, he's not too happy to see Tachibana, either.]

[[He looks up from his paper, fingering tensing just a touch at the edges of it. That person again...]]

...It's the only place open. [[Keeping polite. Keeping civil. Keeping calm.]]

[He's giving Tachibana a funny look now.]

[[Peeking over his newspaper with a disbelieving look. How dumb did this person think he was?]]

[And there's Hajime slamming a hand down on that table and looking like he may punch Tachibana.]

Hiding behind his paper now, all but cowering.]]

[Huh. Tachibana didn't cower that easily. At least, not in a while. Hajime pulls back, frowning slightly in confusion.]

Have you seen Kenzaki?

[Whatever, coward, Hajime's going to use you to try to find someone competent.]

[Hajime's expression is hovering somewhere around confusion and distaste. What is with Tachibana today?]

[Now Hajime's really staring at Tachibana.]

[[The eyebrow raises further before he breaks into a smile]] Ha! Good joke. Fighting the undead... [[a chuckle as he turns back to his newspaper.]] Now you're just making things up.

[Especially with Tachibana, of all people. He sometimes tried this joking thing with Amane. Maybe Kenzaki, at least that time with the lemons. But not Tachibana.]

[[aaaand he stops short before he uses that name and gets the person who's going to destroy everything angry again. He clears his throat, shaking his paper slightly to strengthen it]]

Whatever the case, I only have another 15 left of my lunch break, I don't have time for games right now.

[Hajime is debating whether or not he really wants to drag Tachibana away to find Kenzaki. Kenzaki might appreciate the assistance, and leaving Garren unattended and acting strangely might be a bad idea...decisions, decisions.]

Okay, fine. That's it, you're coming with him, Tachibana. Hajime is going to haul you away now.]

[[That stare of "You are clearly just making this up now" is interrupted as he's grabbed.]]

H--hey! Wait a moment! Where are you-- let go of my arm!

[Hajime gives Tachibana a dismissive glance as he continues trying to haul Tachibana away.]
