[Even in light of what happened, Phillip is as cheerful as ever. Though his parents are keeping a closer eye on him, it's quite possible to find the boy running around town, either heading back from school or walking his golden retriever. ...Probably walking his golden retriever, though that might look a little strange seeing as the dog is about the same size he is. He certainly doesn't appear to be afraid of strangers, though, greeting pretty much everyone he passes by.]

[Pharos, on the other hand, is incredibly confused. He's not quite sure how he got here... after all, he should be going to fulfill his purpose, and he's fairly certain appearing in a crowd he doesn't recognize is not part of that. Still, he's curious. So don't be surprised if you see a boy walking around in sandals and what appear to be striped pajamas, examining even the most minor of things and not seeming to understand that staring at people isn't appropriate.

And so here Melissa is, in uniform, doing her best to keep order downtown, even if that's become really quite difficult with the giant portal there!!! Still, she's clearly a police officer on duty. [Melissa is incredibly lucky that she only gets dragged through the portal after the sun goes down. There are many reasons to be panicked- how the fuck did she get here, is this some kind of changeling glamour shit, what is she going to do if she can't get home before the sun comes back up..? Yeah, this is not looking good for her.

Still, if she's learned anything, it was that the key to survival lay in acting the part. So, with her confident walk and clothes that actually fit in, it's easy to mistake her for for a native, if you ignore the eerie paleness of her skin, lacking even the flush of life...]

Once close enough, he speaks and concern can easily be heard when he speaks. Suddenly seeing your lover looking like they haven't seen sunlight in 10 years would concern anyone.]

[After Wise Snake, it's become fairly obvious that Sherman and his cops aren't really chasing the alleged terrorists anymore. As such, Alan's not bothering with much of a disguise out on the town, though he's still keeping his head down.

He's not headed anywhere in particular, just wandering around - enjoying the increased freedom and thinking about what to do. Even so, he makes sure not to wander anywhere near the ruined business district.]

[Eren is confused. Very confused, but also very excited. Everything about this city he's ended up in is strange and new, and he has to see all the things. Finding out what the hell is going on would be great too, but that can wait just a little bit.

Right now, he's squinting through the window of an electronics store in the particular way only someone who has never seen any of the items on display can.]

Nothing beats a six shot Americano with a cold breve top on a day like today. Mmmm taste those glorious espresso shots. Karl takes a sip while scrolling through the new messages on his iphone. Some attention DOES get paid to the surroundings, but really, Karl's just asking to walk into a light post.]

[What the hell kind of city is this? This is the main thought on Kratos' mind as he makes his way down a street near the business district. The buildings and the vehicles are a level of advancement FAR beyond present day Sylvarant or Tethe'alla. He stops by a crosswalk to watch a few cars zoom by, frowning after a few moments of observation. Just where is this place and how did he end up here?

Though unfamiliar with the technology, crosswalks and the sign indicating go are easy enough to understand. Soon as the light turns green, Kratos starts walking again while fairly oblivious to all the attention he's drawing (or he may just not give a shit). People stop to stare at the tall man in the oddest, possibly inappropriate?? outfit with a sword at his side and whose eyes appear to be legit red?]

As ever, you're most likely to find Fred at a library or bookstore. But if you're careful or lucky, you may also see him in his backyard or some secluded area, experimenting with his powers. And wherever he is, there's a chance of his Djinni-that-once-was-a-cat showing up to keep him company (whether he wants it or not).

Somehow, it never occurred to Felix that lighting Mars Lighthouse might deposit him somewhere entirely unfamiliar. Perhaps it was because he'd been there for the other three and nothing like that had happened. Perhaps it was because no legend he'd ever heard talked about that sort of result.

But whatever the reason, he's here now, wherever "here" is. He doesn't like the look of that portal, especially the way it keeps spitting out entirely different people every few seconds, so he's not about to try to head back right away. In which case he'd probably better get started making a life here. First order of business: talk to everybody find out where this is and what's happening.

A variety of AU versions (Apocalix and Young Wizards being the strongest) are also available upon request, but I'm not coming up with prompts for them right now.

[Neku doesn't really want to go home after school today, and he doesn't have a new place for legal graffiti yet, so... he's kind of bored. That's easily fixed, though, since he brought his sketchpad. He finds a bench in a not that out of the way area, sitting cross-legged and pulling the purple headphones down around his neck as he starts to draw, occasionally messing with his dyed red and very much not spiked hair.]

Neku stares at... wherever the hell this is. He was pretty sure he was getting off at Shibuya station, thanks. But there's no Hachiko in sight, not to mention no Beat or Rhyme or Shiki. Current source of blame: Joshua. It's usually a pretty good bet, he thinks.

Very carefully, he starts heading through the city. It's not too crowded, at least not compared to Tokyo, but something's obviously happened. Maybe he can ask someone what's going on. Preferably someone who's not staring at his hair. Seriously, people, spikes aren't that weird.]

[Hajime is looking very uncomfortable in this new city. He's got a camera slung around his neck, and he'll occasionally stop to take pictures of things. Portal or no, it's the best way he knows of to blend in with the humans. Not that he has any idea where he's going to develop this film. He'll avoid any socializing if he can, because that sort of thing is not at all interesting to him.]

[So there's a bird-dinosaur-man walking around town today. He looks a bit lost, but he's enjoying being in a new place. After all, at his age, it takes a lot to surprise him, and this place doesn't seem entirely unpleasant by any means.]

[ Akira's a pretty familiar face at LCHS. It's not hard to stand out when you're usually covered with paint and hanging with the indie and artsy crowds at lunch. You may have seen him in Drama Club or around the more asian influenced side of town, but this is a long ass way from that and he's standing at the edge of the police tape barrier with a bag of skittles, glancing over the destruction of downtown and even after days there are still news crews chattering about at the barrier. That's a lot of police still, but more importantly: THAT WAS A LOT OF SNAKE. ]

No one told me Godzilla was coming to town. I wonder if they'll make a movie out of this.

[ Leo, on the other hand, is uncomfortably used to seeing mass amounts of destruction and the broken buildings bring back incredibly bad memories, none of which he wants to deal with under the crushing weight of hopelessness. While he's not wearing glasses anymore, he really wishes he still had them. He's standing out a little too much here as he gapes at the new technology. Those cars? All new to him. Cell phones. Holy crap. All those flashing neon signs. That pawn shop looks like an alien mothership, and he's not even familiar with those outside of books. Don't mind the sixteen year old in victorian old fashioned clothes with a black sword and a red cloak on, right? ]

The boy that walks through the portal in the center of town is... slightly confused. This wasn't the place he'd left - he'd been on his dimensional cruiser, the Asura, and out in dimensional space on patrol. He hadn't expected to be planetside again quite yet. Had something teleported him? Regardless, this place looked like it was under attack, or had been recently. A quick check found his Device at his side - both of them - and, feeling uneasy, he snaps a playing card out of his long coat. "S2U, set up!" With a brief affirmative from the card, the boy is suddenly holding a long staff with a small blue cylinder at the top, and he nods.

The first order of business is... to gather information. He had to tread carefully; if this world wasn't one on which magic was used openly, he had a responsibility not to do so himself. And if it was... well, no, better not to assume. Get a handle on the situation first, and decide how to proceed after that. Which means there's a fourteen-year-old kid in a coat bearing... is that police insignia of some kind? That sort of person is walking down the street with a flat, questioning gaze.

Why hello there, boy in a strange coat! Hope you don't mind this over active kid and his rather large dog approaching you. Not that Phillip has much of a choice, seeing as said dog is about his size and he has to follow her more than her him.

It's a very confused dirty blonde that finds herself on the far side of the portal. Seriously, what is this place? It looks like a battle's just taken place... people are milling around and starting to rebuild, but really, it's kind of a weird thing to see. She'd thought all of this was behind her already...

She's still in her uniform, at least, which is a good start; she's suddenly glad she'd elected to stick to the male one today, as it'd been cold and the slacks were a little heavier. Here, that meant no rubble would scratch her legs, which was a convenient benefit. Potpourri is... present, having been riding to school on her head, but continuing his plushie impression until instructed otherwise, something she's never been more glad for.

The first thing to do, then, was to see what was going on. Maybe she could help with the reconstruction, or she could head to the local middle school and check in, see if anyone had heard of Kibougahana. She could get directions home and-

-wait. Did... did that newspaper say that a Precure had helped save the city from something? She just stands there for a long moment, looking at the cover articles, before shaking her head and moving on.

Can an echo be faked in this meme? Am I taking the fourth wall subject too literally in this prose by talking to you? Well too bad, both are happening as sudden recognition floods into Lily Tsukuyomi's mind to a point where she gives an audible groan and holds her head.

It's another beautiful day in Locke City... or, well, as much as it could be, after everything. Winter's still recovering from everything, but it could be much, much worse. For the moment, she's content to roam the city, a iced tea in her hand, and look to see how everything has changed. Look for people she knows, just to check in. There are a lot of things that really need to be done, but for today, they can wait. Winter Adamas needs to destress, and nothing does that quite like an aimless walk around town.

And then there's Rikka, who is looking fairly lost here. Walking around downtown wherever-this-is seems like a good place to start... what happened, though? It looked like King Selfishness had decided to swing by for a romp around. This wasn't good. She needed to find a way home, fast, preferably before the Prime Minister tried to summon the Precure again...

...oh gods, is that Cure Diamond on a tabloid cover? What is going on here-!?

In spite of trying to keep a low profile, Lily still has things to do. Including a small bit of shopping downtown. Really, the very last place she wants to be, as the dark-haired young woman keeps her head perpetually down in hopes no one will give her a second look.

For once, at least, it's not someone running into her? Even if the results - Lily suddenly sprawled out on the sidewalk - are more or less the same.

After the death of the Wise Snake, Lily Tsukuyomi has been making herself fairly scarce in the public eye. Or as scarce as possible, as talk of many heroes who saved the day then makes its way around town. With as public as she was fighting, it's thus not very hard to figure out which one of them Lily was... in addition to close associations with someone who has a giant demon wing, and a certain blue magical girl caught by reporters.

Still, she can't live like a hermit, and thus she doesn't. Especially once school is back in session, though she makes her time in and out of there much quicker than normal. Trying to return to a life where she blended into the background is much harder when there's a bunch of people whispering about you.

Yuri Tsukikage is no stranger to the weird. That really goes without saying. It would be very, very difficult to top the sheer amount of strangeness she had seen in her life. So, suddenly ending up in an American city without warning - while highly suspicious - seems oddly pedestrian to fighting a giant dragon in France. As such, she is rather... nonplussed about the whole ordeal.

Still, there is this lingering sense in the back of her mind that looks can be deceiving. There was obviously destruction and chaos here of late, but... It seems ot have passed. All told, if she was going to get dragged against her will someplace, she'd usually expect it to not be after the giant monster was defeated.

Just what was she there for, then?

At some point while she was looking, Yuri found a hand suddenly placed on her shoulder. "Tieria Erde." At least he thought she was. Can one really blame him for the mistake? He only caught a glimpse of her face, and how many people out there could have long purple hair and ear glasses?

[You know what today is for this dark haired young man? It's comic book release day which is why this college student is around and about despite having homework (that's not due until next week, but he still likes to get ahead of the game). Sure, a giant snake attacked, but that makes it more essential to go about his regular day. It's not like his adoptive father even cared to call up on him to make sure he was okay. If he did, then he might have purposely missed that call.

Headphones on, he's walking along, getting some food from the stands, and maybe even nodding his head at the people he passes by to be polite. Even if he hardly smiles, it doesn't mean he's not polite.

[Well, this is certainly something. The area reminds him heavily of Yu Liberte yet something seems off with how mechanical it is. Almost as if the Amarcians had gotten their hands on a city. No matter, he will investigate this place at once. Hands behind his back as he walks, he inspects the town -- perhaps a victim of some sort of war? Nothing surprising, really, since his world is used to such things.

He'll still go around and see if everyone's okay however. Despite is less than personable nature, he has the ability to heal others if it comes to that.]

[Andrew's pretty out of it as he heads down the street, groceries in hand. He's been up all night studying for a physics exam and now that it's over and his errands for the day are done, he's just about ready to crash.

It's only when he misses someone in front of him and accidentally walks straight into Hubert that Andrew starts waking up. Still, the first thing he says is more of a mumble.]
