Or your workplace is trashed, if not some real estate you had in the area, and you'll be needing a helping hand - or are trying to offer one!
> Help, help, I've been robbed - your bag or wallet's just been snatched, or is in the process of being snatched. Catch the snatcher or rough them up - you may or may not be surprised, if you come to blows or a chase, to find on throwing a punch that they're much quicker and/or sturdier than you'd have expected. Maybe someone will dive in to back you up.

[That brings a relieved smile to her face]

[Eliot said as he put the pictures away after she lowered her hand, he can't believe that she recognized the pictures, it makes him very happy.] Then it seems we had to have known each other there.

Do you think so? I suppose stranger things are possible. I've seen them myself.

This... is going to sound... crazy, probably, but I am getting the oddest sense of deja vu just having this conversation, and I don't even know you.

And, wow. I'm really sorry, where are my manners? I'm Ariana West.

Recently, yes. Fortunately, Gabriel's been kind enough to offer me a place to stay until I've gotten on my feet here more properly.

[When she looks uncertain, Eliot can only kick himself. Maybe that had been too much, the last thing he wanted to do was make her feel uncomfortable at all. But when she smiles, he can't help but smile back as well.]

And I look forward to getting to know you as well, Ariana. Though you can just call me Eliot, if you'd like.

All right, then. Eliot it is. [She smiles a little shyly.]. I'm sure Gabriel's already given you the run of the flat, so I'm sure you'll be as welcome as ever over here.

So long as I don't disturb you when I visit, I would be happy to come over. [Eliot hasn't felt like this since he first met Cecily, but he feels so drawn to her in a way he can't explain.]

I'm sure it'll be fine. I keep some odd hours sometimes, but I don't think it'll be any problem. Especially if you let one of us know ahead of time.
