> Cleanup of downtown Locke City still has a ways to go. It looks like that shop you were planning on another trip to this week is closed for the time being. Or the entire block is trashed and you'll be needing an alternate route to work. Or your workplace is trashed, if not some real estate you had in the area, and you'll be needing a helping hand - or are trying to offer one!
> Help, help, I've been robbed - your bag or wallet's just been snatched, or is in the process of being snatched. Catch the snatcher or rough them up - you may or may not be surprised, if you come to blows or a chase, to find on throwing a punch that they're much quicker and/or sturdier than you'd have expected. Maybe someone will dive in to back you up.
> Monster encounter! The above or you were robbed (or, for all you could tell, misplaced something) a while ago, and one of the objects you lost seems to have come back to you, if not the way you recognize it. Ayup, getting backup might be a good idea.

[ It's been too long since Teagan visited the park. With work building up so exponentially since the disaster downtown, his only escape had been doing paperwork in his cabin rather than his temporary office or his apartment in the city. The park was, unfortunately, ignored, until now. He had gone to the parks department office to discuss the fact that his donations had been momentarily cut short (for obvious reasons, really), and thought...why not. I'm nearby, I might as well enjoy where my money is going.

And so he is walking. It's the first rest he's had in some time, even if only for an hour. ]

[You'd be amazed at the number of people who'd come to Gateway to do the same as Teagan. It wasn't crowded right now, given the time but, Ariel was still busy making sure no one went where they shouldn't. A few trees had been felled in the earthquake, and some of the buildings were currently closed while minor repairs were done, but that didn't stop people from going where they weren't allowed to go.

She was just coming from a picnic area with a fallen tree when she spotted him walking towards the closed off area.]

Sorry sir, this area is closed while we do some repairs.

[ Patience is relative. Teagan considers himself a patient man because he keeps his annoyance to himself, usually. This woman is simply doing her job, there's no reason to be sharp with her, so he's not. He keeps it cool. Patient.

Still annoying, though, when he gives her a tense smile and reaches into his jacket pocket. ]

I'm a donor to the park, I believe that means I can go where I like.
