Test Drive Meme

HEL-LO, EARTH'S NEW HEROES.
Test Drive Meme!
Scenarios:
> Cleanup of downtown Locke City still has a ways to go. It looks like that shop you were planning on another trip to this week is closed for the time being. Or the entire block is trashed and you'll be needing an alternate route to work. Or your workplace is trashed, if not some real estate you had in the area, and you'll be needing a helping hand - or are trying to offer one!
> Help, help, I've been robbed - your bag or wallet's just been snatched, or is in the process of being snatched. Catch the snatcher or rough them up - you may or may not be surprised, if you come to blows or a chase, to find on throwing a punch that they're much quicker and/or sturdier than you'd have expected. Maybe someone will dive in to back you up.
> Monster encounter! The above or you were robbed (or, for all you could tell, misplaced something) a while ago, and one of the objects you lost seems to have come back to you, if not the way you recognize it. Ayup, getting backup might be a good idea.
> Transportation/travel. You're at an airport or train station, whether to escape or take a tour to a strange-events hotspot, or plain go on an innocent vacation. Mix up your bags or timetables, grab a pre-ride snack, chat up those with the same destination, get or give directions, find yourself receiving an ill-timed item Echo in front of security - whatever you can think up!
> Say - is that one of those superhumans you've spied on the street? Yes, I do believe it is - you've seen them on the news/read about them, that or their looks give them away! Go on and ask questions of them, be it for serious answers or an autograph, depending on who you are.
> ...And it looks like you're a superhuman yourself. Looks like that hollowed-out feeling you got was followed by a mutation, or some strange thing in your brain. How're you going to come to grips with it?
> Wildcard/Etc. Make up your own!
Prompts suggested by Alec and Zero.

Is it that obvious? I didn't imagine it would be so heavy.
[She sets down the bags again as gracefully as she can (which admittedly isn't much, but Regina can make anything look graceful if she tries. And she is certainly trying now) before standing back up and brushing her hands off lightly on the billowy dress she was wearing. Regina tilts her head to the side slightly once she takes a look at who is talking to her, frowning a little in thought...and then simply smiles.]
I know you, don't I? You're the new boy; Oliver.
["Know" is perhaps too strong a word for their relationship, but Regina makes it her business to know people.]

You've got it in one! I'm impressed you recognized me.

He's cute.]
I've seen you around school, but I'm afraid we've never really gotten the chance to speak. I'm always so busy... [Dancing, school council, volunteer work. Regina does it all, anything and everything to further pad down her record.]
A shame that our first real meeting had to be so...unorthodox. [She gestures at the bags on the ground.] I don't want to hold you up if you're busy. [No, she really does, and she'll be quite annoyed if Oliver leaves, but she's being polite.]

No, it's nice to meet you at all. ( WAIT THAT WAS WEIRD ) I mean — no matter how long it took. ( NNNNNNNN ) Not that it was long.
( okay you know what he's just going to go lean over to pick up some bags before he embarrasses himself even more life is hard. )
Don't worry, I'm not busy.

But Oliver is one of the more charming examples.]
Don't be so nervous. I don't bite. [She leans down with him, grabbing whatever one he reached for by the other side.]
They're rather heavy, but the dumpster isn't too far off. We can carry this one together, at least to clear up the sidewalk a bit.
no subject
Sorry. ( for, you know. HIMSELF. but he pauses, frowning, when she reaches for the other side of the bag. ) I can carry it for you.
no subject
Oh, I couldn't let you do that. They're quite a bit heavier than they look. [Regina moves to heft it up a little, as if to prove her point.]
I wouldn't want to put the bulk of the work on a kind stranger like you.

Pretty girls like me aren't so helpless. [No point in denying that she is a pretty girl, after all. She keeps a hold on the bag, and turns to smile at Oliver.]
And it'd be awful of me to take advantage of a cute boy like you.
[It's said teasingly, but her face is gentle. Just trying to start some friendly banter; he seems so nervous.]
