Or the entire block is trashed and you'll be needing an alternate route to work. Or your workplace is trashed, if not some real estate you had in the area, and you'll be needing a helping hand - or are trying to offer one!
> Help, help, I've been robbed - your bag or wallet's just been snatched, or is in the process of being snatched. Catch the snatcher or rough them up - you may or may not be surprised, if you come to blows or a chase, to find on throwing a punch that they're much quicker and/or sturdier than you'd have expected. Maybe someone will dive in to back you up.

[The smile doesn't fool her, not at all, but that's okay. Regina can play that game too. She shifts a little, setting the bags down with a graceless thump, before humming softly in (mock) thought.]

It might be a bit longer, unfortunately. There's still quite a lot to do.

Really? That's so sad! I was looking forward to them starting up again, ahaha...

[A shake of her head.] It's a good thing there's people cleaning up... I, um, should wish them luck!

Maybe in a couple of weeks. Once we get the new equipment in and the windows replaced. [A soft, tired sigh, as she brushes the dark hair from her face. And not moving the bags out of the way.]

It's quite tiring, but without lessons to go to, I thought I could make time...

Yeah... But you wouldn't ever not make time for it, would you? [She crosses her arms, making a show of thinking that over. The movements are stiff, certainly, but she's gaining some confidence here.]

I've had so much to do since everything happened though... My parents were just so worried, you know?

Of course! Daily practice can only do so much, you know? I'd prefer to get things in order as soon as possible.

[She nods sympathetically at Momo's explanation (though whether she believes that's the real reason she's not helping is another story).]

It's been a very trying time of all of us. I hope you'll manage to come back once everything is in working condition.

Ah, but I wouldn't want to miss anything when everything's back to normal! And my parents wouldn't dream of making me miss classes. I'll be right here then!

There's only so much you can do on your own.

Which is why we're trying to finish this as soon as possible! It'd go faster if we had more hands, of course, but we can't drag people away from what's more important to them.
