Hello, current Earthlings and potential appers alike!

How'd it be if your deadbeat father, school-age daughter, or ex-lover turned up on the network?

Come on in and use this meme to list notable friends, relatives, acquaintances, etc. of your characters or characters who you plan on bringing in who are available to turn out to be fellow reincarnates! Give basic necessary descriptions and information of the people in question (so, say, your character from a strict household doesn't wind up getting a mother who is by nature as impossibly laid-back as they come!) and plan as you like with others!

What did Sandy usually do in the Brooklyn area? I can say that he and his father went on a business trip in the area, and maybe he and Sandy met there during that time? They could have kept in touch after that.

He would've had a pretty steady summer/after school job somewhere to build his resume and earn spending money, but he also went to school to be an accountant so that's a whole other set of possibilities, mostly along the lines of Pops meeting someone on campus or Sandy out on a club- or class-related activity.

Ohh yes, that would work! What year would that have been and what age was Sandy then?

Sandy was in college from fall '01 to spring '05, age 18-22, although I can stretch it into '06 on the basis of slacking off if necessary.

Ooh that's perfect, actually. If we have them meet in '02, Aeron will have been 11 years old at the time and really quiet. Probably loitering around somewhere while his father's talking to his old friend.

Would Sandy have approached him?

He definitely would've initiated conversation, something along the lines of "aren't you a little young to be waiting for office hours?" Maybe ask if he was lost or something, since by then at least one of his siblings would've had a baby, so he'd be just familiar enough with munchkins to be concerned, and hang out at least until a more qualified adult showed up.

Probably would have taken awhile! Maybe Aeron was trying to read some more advanced math-y things to impress his father, and Sandy could have helped him with some problems he was struggling with? Then exchanged emails...
