He considered Robyn a cool, but pretty excitable classmate of his. He definitely enjoyed her company, especially working together on class assignments (which I imagine was a lot more of them being doofuses than actually getting work done).

With her being on the network and showing her Cure Phantom, though, things have shifted a little. On the one hand, he's concerned for her safety because he doesn't think she has any superpowers, and Danny knows firsthand how dangerous network stuff can get. He's used to it--he can just phase through it. But Robyn can't, and he's worried she might get hurt.

On the other hand, it's pretty cool to tell a friend about his secret identity. Even if he is kinda weirded out by the fangirly squealing and autographing. Most of his other friends were people who've been on the network a long time already and were familiar with his powers and all to begin with, so his superheroics aren't really a thing to them. But for Robyn...well, who wouldn't like being flattered so much by your friends? He just hopes that in the long term this doesn't change much about their relationship.

Goofing of in class? These two? Never! They are serious students who only think of serious things. Seriously.

Okay, goofing off is pretty much all thy do. Robyn hasn't been in school with Danny very long, but he has made her shift into it much more comfortable.

Also one of her new friends has given her the crazy idea to go out and start superheroing. They're probably going to be making costumes and everything soon.

So does Danny want to either be followed out superheroing sometime or run into a very enthusiastic Robyn trying to hero either by herself or with a pal?

I'm sorry she's giving you all these worries Danny.

Also. ...She might go from fangirling to developing a bit of a crush on Danny as time goes on, if that's okay with you?

I think max hilarity would be either Robyn following him on his superhero adventures one day, or him running into her in the middle of a fight or something and being like "OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING???"

Also I am totally okay with the crush too and I think that could be really fun, but only if you are okay with it being awkward and one-sided because no please stop he already has a girlfriend

I think following is probably the most likely to happen at the moment. Seeing as she has no combat skills at the moment, but we'll see what happens by the time she's ready to hit the streets.

Awkward and one sided it is! Awkwar is pretty much Robyn's middle name.

omg noooo if any more supernatural trouble hits the streets of Locke we could definitely do a log of danny realizing he's being followed by robyn in some weird outfit. (or we could do regular Locke crime, maybe.)

Well Sunday she's hitting a thrift store with Lucy to look for things they can use for costumes. So it'll probably be a little while after that before it actually happens. I'm cool with her following him into either something paranormal or just a regular old crime. She will probably be too nervous off the start to jump right in, so it's perfect for him to just notice her following along.

Glad I could deliver! After awhile she might realize it's not going anywhere and lose interest, but this is all speaking in long term anyways.

And man, now I want to know about his hatemance. That sound interesting.

If we want to do it soon then uh unless another plot post hits specifying more supernatural shit going down in Locke, it'll probably be something mundane like an armed mugging or something!

(As for the hatemance, Danny always had a negative relationship with Skyler, who used to bully him regularly. Until Danny got superpowers and learned to start standing up for himself, anyway--then he possessed the guy to get revenge because Danny hates him with the power of a thousand suns and Octavia is convinced it's alien hatemance at work.)

I'm in no rush to do it. Waiting a little gives Robyn a bit more time to get settled with all the craziness her life has become. Maybe we'll wait until the next plot post comes up and then make decision on it?

(I think I support this whole Alien hatemance thing.)
