Admittedly, he's only had one conversation with the guy, so the best thing he's got are first impressions, and based on those?

He thinks this guy (whoever he is, he hasn't even gotten a name) is a pretty good guy? He obviously helped out in the Wise Snake fight, which puts him in the 'good guy' field in Danny's book. Kind of a buzzkill, though--come on dude, have a little fun now and then!
