[Kara's plate is piled similarly high, although it's her first (and likely only) outing to the buffet and always difficult to tell whether her habits were echo-induced or not anyway. she spots Walter and risks balancing her tray on one hand so that she can wave cheerfully to him.

she might not take any of his classes, but Tim certainly does, which means that she's passingly familiar with him and that's about all Kara needs to start up a conversation]

Well, that's the thing - I can't think of any reason it would. I mean, I haven't been doing anything that would necessitate it, so suddenly having the appetite of a ravenous freshman is more than a little odd.

I really could not say! As friends we speak on many topics and there are so many classes which Tim takes because he is the workaholic and on top of that my English is still not the best so it really could be anyone he is having the problems with!
