shabadoobie touch to [TEST DRIVE]

HERE WE GO AGAIIIIIN
Here's a few options, ganked from the last one and still as shamelessly stolen from even earlier versions.
> The Park. Man, what a nice day out. Why not enjoy it? I'm sure -- shit, yep, there's some echo monsters or whatever they're called.
> The Mall. Exactly what it says on the tin! Dodge the hordes of teenage mallrats or take part, whichever suits your tastes.
> Rainy Day. Agh, it's fucking awful out. And is it raining those vermilion things?? Now you've got an Echo to contend with on top of everything else. Find some shelter, quick!

Very nice! Test Strike! FABULOUS!

[ She's just blanking them out on her handy dandy schedule so no one does an online appointment. Type. Click. Save...there, updated. ]
You caught us at a not-busy time, lucky you. How many kittens are there?

There'll be a cost for the routine exams, but it should be pretty negligible unless there's something wrong, just so you know; and the vet is pretty willing to work with people, so. [ To a reasonable degree, at least. But they do like animals at the clinic, and they're not unfamiliar with seeing strays to the correct organizations, when it comes down to it. ] No sign of the mother cat?

[He sets the box down and starts filling out the paperwork]
This happens a lot, I was told.

[ Sierra sighed, just a bit. Kittens are cute, but it's always a bit sad when they end up strays like this. Orphans.
...She stands up and peers into the box, unable to help herself in the least. ]
And yeah - do you work up at the stables? [ She gestures vaguely, although she is paying more attention to the kittens than Killian at this exact moment in time. ]

The underground kitten trade, obviously. If it were me, I probably would have just asked.
[ It seems a tad bit less rude than just staring.
...Also, she would have wanted to know. ]

[He shrugs, laughing a bit]
...I don't know the breed of the kittens, and this form is asking for it.

[ Sierra could attempt it, but. She's pretty sure she'll leave that to the folks with the degrees, for the moment. ]

[He fills out the papers and hands them back]
Here. What were you working on?

[ College-level, even. Sierra wrinkles her nose, just barely. ]
