HEL-LO, EARTH'S NEW HEROES.
Test Drive Meme!
Scenarios:
> Cleanup of downtown Locke City still has a ways to go. It looks like that shop you were planning on another trip to this week is closed for the time being. Or the entire block is trashed and you'll be needing an alternate route to work. Or your workplace is trashed, if not some real estate you had in the area, and you'll be needing a helping hand - or are trying to offer one!
> Help, help, I've been robbed - your bag or wallet's just been snatched, or is in the process of being snatched. Catch the snatcher or rough them up - you may or may not be surprised, if you come to blows or a chase, to find on throwing a punch that they're much quicker and/or sturdier than you'd have expected. Maybe someone will dive in to back you up.
> Monster encounter! The above or you were robbed (or, for all you could tell, misplaced something) a while ago, and one of the objects you lost seems to have come back to you, if not the way you recognize it. Ayup, getting backup might be a good idea.
> Transportation/travel. You're at an airport or train station, whether to escape or take a tour to a strange-events hotspot, or plain go on an innocent vacation. Mix up your bags or timetables, grab a pre-ride snack, chat up those with the same destination, get or give directions, find yourself receiving an ill-timed item Echo in front of security - whatever you can think up!
> Say - is that one of those superhumans you've spied on the street? Yes, I do believe it is - you've seen them on the news/read about them, that or their looks give them away! Go on and ask questions of them, be it for serious answers or an autograph, depending on who you are.
> ...And it looks like you're a superhuman yourself. Looks like that hollowed-out feeling you got was followed by a mutation, or some strange thing in your brain. How're you going to come to grips with it?
> Wildcard/Etc. Make up your own!
Prompts suggested by Alec and Zero.
Saretha Kaiser (Satsuki Kiryuin) | Kill la Kill
[The rain is heavy tonight, something which actually suits Saretha just fine. As if the darkness wasn't enough to cover any attention that might fall upon her, inclement weather would surely do the trick otherwise. It certainly meant that there wasn't much in the way of clean up workers scurrying about. No one to really get in her way as she walked along a particularly rubble strewn area.
There was still much to be gleaned from all that happened on the 9th of March. That day was responsible for the mess she's currently in, and there weren't many people she'd yet seen that she could trust.
In one hand, she holds a large black umbrella, and in the other a particularly long case. It may look like an instrument case to some. That's perfectly fine if they want to make such an assumption. She also wears a long black coat, but beneath that, a white dress which is of stark contrast to the rest of her attire and possessions.
Also, the caution tape blocking off this damaged area? Is a long way behind her by this point.]
[Robbery. Or, well. The attempt at it.]
[Someone sure thought they'd had a bright idea.
It's broad daylight. Saretha had been preparing to settle into the back of a limo. There was business to attend to, and she quite needed to be on her way. Passing that unusually long case off to her butler, she prepared to climb in when... A thug came running past, attempting to snatch the case out of her servant's hands.
That was the intention, at least.
Presently, said hoodlum is sprawled on the street curb, trying to gurgle something out as Saretha's white, heeled boot is on his throat. That case, meanwhile, has fallen to the ground and opened up - revealing a sheathed sword in a pristine, white sheath.]
prompt the first
[another woman, wearing a similar trenchcoat and carrying a black umbrella approaches her. Her own hair is black, and she's got the air of a professional about her]
My name is Terasawa Fuyuka. I was wondering if I could ask you several questions.
no subject
Forward, aren't you.
[That's not a question.]
Few would get a chance at one, much less several.
no subject
[she doesn't sigh or offer her hand to shake, instead she just walks up alongside the younger woman]
I'm a private investigator. I'm trying to gather information on what happened here.
no subject
You watch the news, I hope.
no subject
[she looks to the side]
Let's start with a simple one. What do you know about numbers?

Dos
That face. It all brings back another memory of a woman - this woman, only not - on top of other memories, of Kiryuin Satsuki, who the man whose life he is remembering had undying loyalty towards. The mere idea of being so loyal is almost difficult to comprehend, and let it never be said that he is a disloyal man himself.
One blond eyebrow is raised at the sight. ]
That would have been a difficult item to pawn off safely at any rate, the fool.
no subject
[She stops cold, that voice circulating something within her. Familiar, and yet... a sharp look brings her to its source, and the memory. A man that could only be described as larger than life. A sheer force of nature. And, perhaps most importantly, her shield.
The surprise is evident for a long moment where the rest of the city seems almost drowned out. It passes, though, and her composure returns.
Her boot never moves from the crook's throat though, still.]
no subject
No, it was more pressing that this woman so matched the forceful image in his memories, effortlessly dominant. ]
You should try not to break his neck, if you intend to do him a favor.
no subject
She only notices this out of the corner of the corner of her eye, though, as her attention is mostly focused upon this man. As her butler gathers up the case, snapping it shut around Bakuzan, she strides forward, paying little mind to anyone else nearby. Since, well. They're still staring, but his are the only words really reaching her ears.
Still, no need to play her hand just yet. She's aware of him, but is he aware of her?]
He will assuredly make his own grave anyhow, if he continues at that rate. I just won't be the one to make it today.
no subject
[ It's obviously Bakuzan so he can be safe in the assumption that she's got some knowledge of Satsuki, minimal though it may be. He is confident in that, at least, and therefore she might recognize him. There's no reason not to reveal himself, though, to someone who might have a very important connection to the very large man. ]

Downtown
[Roxy's umbrella is bright pink, and she is not dressed for stealth in the least, with a matching pair of pink boots and a bright purple hoodie. Black jeans are basically the only piece of clothing vaguely approaching darkness she has on.]
Like the entire effect here you got goin' on is actually pretty impressive not gonna lie.
no subject
considerablebrows raise, casting a glance in the direction of the voice. She was expecting to run into security at some point, as opposed to... well. She was a bit bright, wasn't she.]
I'll draw attention when I want it.
[She cocked her head up a tad.]
Though I suppose I've attracted a bit of it.
no subject
So what brings you past the caution tape today? You just not give a fuck or what?
no subject
Hn. [She continues to walk a little.] Things that are blocked off become a lot more interesting, nowadays.
no subject
There's not much here. Maybe rubble from the snake statues. But mostly it's just an easy shortcut back home for me.
The real interesting stuff has much more official blocks than like. Some hastily thrown-up caution tape some guys put up to warn people not to walk under falling rocks, y'know?

Saretha, isn't it?
no subject
Hmnn. More than a little. And that appearance isn't exactly made for stealth. [Her head tilts down a bit.] I don't believe we have met, or at least ... Not like this.
[That armor did have her at a bit of a disadvantage, completely concealing his identity.]

A flash of light, and there's a young man in a lab coat standing there. The most immediately noticeable detail is the white streak through his hair.]
Warren Statesman, at your service.

Superhumaaaaaan
No. Everything is as it was before.
[Raye gives a heavy, frustrated sigh, folding her arms and wrapping her jacket around herself tighter, though it and her hood did little to block the weather. It had been a decent idea... go back to where Senketsu had first appeared and see if it jogged any memories of where he'd been before. Decent, in theory anyway. It would have almost been a good one if it weren't for THE FUCKING RAIN.]
[She's just about to call it quits when a tremor runs through Senketsu and the Kamui lets out a low growl. She blinks, looking down at her collar.]
Hey, what's up?
I'm not certain, but be on your guard. Something's coming.
Something?
[She lifts her head, looking around for any sign of what it could be that suddenly has Senketsu rattled.]
Re: Superhumaaaaaan
She can't quite make out the girl in the heavy downpour, not yet, but... there is something strange tugging at her. Something she cannot place.
Something which almost makes the very clothes on her back want to pull her along, which is actually a... fully literal assessment of things.
She narrows her eyes, and stops. She still can't fully make the girl out, but speaks anyway, her commanding voice cutting through the sound of the rain.]
You, there.
no subject
Senketsu isn't helping either. His eye is zeroed in on Saretha, or rather, that dress she's wearing and he's practically vibrating with... something. Fear? No, not exactly. It's an aggressive energy, almost like an animal bearings its fangs at an intruder into its territory. It's freaking her out. They've run across giant snakes, weird monsters, people with superpowers but he's never reacted like this to any of them.]
Hey, chill out.
[She turns her attention back to Saretha, turning towards her fully and raising her voice to match her tone.]
Yeah? You looking for directions or something?
no subject
She takes another step forward.]
This isn't exactly the sort of place one would be prone to just wandering into accidentally, having lost their way.
[Of course not, with it taped off, someone would have to be there purposefully.]
