Test Drive Meme

HEL-LO, EARTH'S NEW HEROES.
Test Drive Meme!
Scenarios:
> Cleanup of downtown Locke City still has a ways to go. It looks like that shop you were planning on another trip to this week is closed for the time being. Or the entire block is trashed and you'll be needing an alternate route to work. Or your workplace is trashed, if not some real estate you had in the area, and you'll be needing a helping hand - or are trying to offer one!
> Help, help, I've been robbed - your bag or wallet's just been snatched, or is in the process of being snatched. Catch the snatcher or rough them up - you may or may not be surprised, if you come to blows or a chase, to find on throwing a punch that they're much quicker and/or sturdier than you'd have expected. Maybe someone will dive in to back you up.
> Monster encounter! The above or you were robbed (or, for all you could tell, misplaced something) a while ago, and one of the objects you lost seems to have come back to you, if not the way you recognize it. Ayup, getting backup might be a good idea.
> Transportation/travel. You're at an airport or train station, whether to escape or take a tour to a strange-events hotspot, or plain go on an innocent vacation. Mix up your bags or timetables, grab a pre-ride snack, chat up those with the same destination, get or give directions, find yourself receiving an ill-timed item Echo in front of security - whatever you can think up!
> Say - is that one of those superhumans you've spied on the street? Yes, I do believe it is - you've seen them on the news/read about them, that or their looks give them away! Go on and ask questions of them, be it for serious answers or an autograph, depending on who you are.
> ...And it looks like you're a superhuman yourself. Looks like that hollowed-out feeling you got was followed by a mutation, or some strange thing in your brain. How're you going to come to grips with it?
> Wildcard/Etc. Make up your own!
Prompts suggested by Alec and Zero.
Alexander S. Bogu (Allelujah Haptism | Gundam 00 )
Down girl!
[So here is Alexander, taking his shih tzu for a walk. But while Alexander is content to mind his own business, his dog seems to have other ideas. She's constantly yapping at everyone who is walking by, including you, much to her owner's chagrin.
So have a sheepish, apologetic smile from Alex as he tugs on the leash.]
Sorry about that.
B. Bumping into you
[Another migraine hit him suddenly, causing him to stop in his tracks. He had always had a problem with them, but they were never this frequent, or this sudden. The pain is that its blinding. Literally. He honestly can barely see more than a foot in front of him, and any light that did stream into his eyes may as well been made of daggers.
Thankfully, he knows these things pass as quickly as they come, so he just tries to find somewhere out of the way that he can lean against for a few minutes to ride this out. But he really can't see where he's going, and bumps into whoever happens to be walking by him on the street.]
Ah, excuse me.
C. Wildcard
[Make up your own thing]
no subject
No problem, though I think I better back away a bit.
no subject
[Though Alexander is tugging on the leash, pulling his dog away. His shih tzu was decently trained, but she could be stubborn and feisty sometimes.]
She's more bark than bite, usually.
no subject
[He told the Leonhberger firmly in accented Icelandic and the dog obediently sat, though its eyes were fixed on the smaller dog that was still barking. Fil gave it a scratch on the head.]
So's Thjalfi here. What got yours so excited? I'm not smelling especially tasty or something today, am I?
no subject
No, its nothing like that. Grace here has just been a little on edge since the incident. Its made her a bit wary of strangers.
[Growing tired of the little dog's yapping, Alex picks her up. She still barks every now and again, but she's clearly much more comfortable in his arms.]
She's actually a big softie once you get to know her. But I doubt she'll ever be quite as good a listener as your dog.
no subject
Understandable. Us humans are wary enough. Was she in the business district when shit went down there? [Now that Grace's stopped yapping so much, Thjalfi calms down as well, enough to put his head down on the ground since it looks like his walker is going to stay and chat for a bit.]
Not my dog, my uncle's dog. One of two dogs actually. But yeah, he's well trained. Doesn't help he's smart to begin with. [And as if Thjalfi knows his walker is praising him, his tail begins to wag up and down.]
no subject
We were both only a few blocks away from there when everything started. We managed to get away from there unscathed, but all of the excitement was a bit much for her.
[And speaking of Grace, after a few more scrtiches, its seems that she's calmed down as well, as she finally stops yapping for the moment.]
no subject
That's good. I was unfortunately working in the business district that day, but I got lucky and got out with just a few bruises.
Well, hello there. B!
Actually.
Actually, yeah, it was pretty dull most of the time. The area sectioned off to store the machines wasn't exactly suited for putting them through their paces, and Neil wasn't sure they could do that very well without venturing outside the city. Where... the Gundams would assuredly cease to be of any use anyway. And with teenagers glaring at him and dealing with Eugen, the hotel was a laugh a minute.
So, he's not really paying attention when some guy collides with him, as he was in that moment contemplating just how high in the sky he could shoot with the rifle that Dynames had equipped.
He stumbles, and catches himself on a light pole to avoid throwing the weight onto his long wounded right leg. He shakes his head as he re-balances himself.]
Hey man, watch--
[Then he looks at the man.
The now-familiar hollow sensation of an echo overtakes him for a moment, and recognition surges through his mind. He thus then just stands there, more than a little dumbstruck.]
no subject
[He doesn't really look at the man when he speaks, and despite how rushed it is, his apology is still sincere. Even so, his vision is still suffering for the moment, so he honestly hasn't noticed at all who he bumped into. He manages a few more steps until his outstretched arm makes contact with the face of a building, and he finally has something solid to lean on support.]
no subject
Still, it didn't mean he knew that, and there was no need to freak him out. So he moves over in his general direction.]
It's... fine. It happens. You okay, man?
no subject
[It'll suddenly get ten times worse, actually.
The pain is so great that Alexander clutches his head with one hand, and wants nothing more than to just curl up into a little ball and die. He doesn't, though. Somehow, he remains standing, his other hand leaning against the wall for support as he turns his head to seemingly glare quite intently through the pain at the taller stranger.]
no subject
Normally, he'd leave well enough alone.
This was far from normal, thanks to that damned echo.]
You don't look fine. You didn't hit anything, right?
no subject
Laaawwkh--
[And that's as far as he gets, before this strange moment comes to an end. The pain has stopped, at least, hand rubbing his forehead as the world starts to come back into focus.]
(no subject)
(no subject)
A; hola o/
Hey, there. You're really pretty.
[ Looking up, he shakes his head lightly at the apology. ] It's fine, this poor thing is probably nervous. Is this a he or she?
'allo
Uh... she. Her name is Grace.
no subject
But the moment he actually pays enough attention to the stranger to catch his full face, Eugen could only stares quietly at him while a familiar sensation numbs his senses. The memory of this person come flooding into his mind, and he frowns in recognition of yet another one of his oddly named comrade. Managing a chagrin smile, he speaks the name anyway, wondering if Mr. Stranger would remember who he is too. ]
Allelujah Haptism. [ If Eugen ever finds the person responsible for their names, he would choke the living daylights out of them without remorse. ]
Screwing around with echoes a bit because test-drive and crazy meister, so bear with me
What? What are you talking about?
[Please don't let this be a religious thing or something. Not that he was against religion, he just wanted to take the dog out for a stroll. He's about to say something, possibly politely excuse himself from this strange dude, when he suddenly grabs his head in pain, letting out a choked out noise. This probably isn't the usual reaction to a pulse; a sudden, crippling headache, which Alex thinks is nothing more than a migraine. But, then again, Alexander isn't your usual reincarnate.
You see, much to Alexander's obliviousness, someone else got that echo. Someone who is trying very hard to claw through to the surface of Alex's mind, to wake up from this damn slumber he's in.]
No worries! Totally welcomed!
Ah no... It's just a name of someone I know. You look like---
[ Hands leaving Grace, Eugen gets up immediately when the stranger suddenly lost his composure. ] H-hey! Are you---
[ So much for trying to help. Another memory storms in with the momentum and he stumbles a step or two backward. Eugen is lucky he's already up on his feet when it happens or he would have been on his ass right now. Frowning at his new found knowledge, he sighs with sympathetic understanding for the stranger. Grabbing his shoulder gently, he asks with strange confidence. ]
Is that you, Hallelujah?
no subject
Its a change that Grace certainly notices, and she immediately starts yapping at the intruding guest.
But before he can say anything, that smile fades, and the pain vanishes along with it. It just leaves Alexander standing there, leaning his weight against Eugen as he gets his bearings.]

Re: Alexander S. Bogu (Allelujah Haptism | Gundam 00 )
Instead, he just manages his own awkward grin, half-wondering if it's actually him upsetting the dog. People said animals could sense when something's not right about a person. ]
Hey, don't worry about it. She's probably just saying hello, right?
no subject
Something like that.
no subject
[ He inches back slightly, unsure about the response and keeping his attention on the dog. His tone is a touch more nervous. Less so about the dog and more about what could happen if the dog tries anything. ]
As long as she's not a biter... I hear those little ones can be nippy.
no subject
She doesn't bite. She's usually more noise than anything else.
no subject
[ Alexi tries his best to not side-eye the dog. ]
Guess it's something you get used to. She must've been a real handful with everything going on.
