Hehehe. Well, if she ever does need help, it's likely he'll be one of the first people she thinks to ask. Despite the similarities between them, which leaves her unsure of how to interact with him, she does like him as well and wants to help if that's a possibility.

Sam IS going to get a little more liberal with messing around with dark power. He'll never get to Kira levels because he's fundamentally a laid back person (and because he's not smart enough.), but I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually somehow got L trying to hunt him down with all that master detective shit.

I know, right? There's awkward, and then there's this brand of so-awkward-I-think-my-entire-preschool-class-is-laughing-uncomfortably-right-now-wherever-they-are-because-oh-god-so-mortifyingly-awkward.

Fortunately L's brand of awkward is neither; it's the kind that everyone else feels acutely but he's all but immune to.



No topic is off-limits to this guy as long as he's the one asking questions. Sho has an advantage simply because he's one of the few people L thinks he can actually learn something from; he's had a lot of experience in areas L's not, and he recognizes that. It makes him very willing to take a more submissive, naive approach to their CR, and showing an ounce of humility is probably good for him in the long run. Eventually things might even out a bit depending on how much Sho thinks he can learn from L as time passes.

Lucy's a little too dense to realize when people's being mean to her, so she didn't really pick up on Marina's irritation early on. She's obviously trying to find out more about Marina, which is part of the reason why she interrogated Winter in a thread earlier. Part of it is because she's really determined to be friends with both Anais and Marina, no matter what! After all, they all traveled to Cephiro together!

I don't know how things are going to work out between Marina and Lucy -- their interaction has been pretty limited thusfar, but I'm sure that once Marina returns from Vegas, we can change that. Lucy's pretty good at dealing with teens with attitude, sooooo that might help!

Did you have anything in particular you wanted to do? Any Echoes you'd like to trigger with Lucy?

He thinks she's okay, responsible, level-headed and wise for her age. He's not very impressed with her insistent about hair color but he'll give that to her being a teenager and not understanding workplace related issues with such thing. He also appreciates her effort with Wise Snake and now in Vegas!

He's still not too pleased that she compared him to dictators. He thinks she's pushy and kind of mean, too. And that's par for the course for a teenage girl? He doesn't hate her or anything but he certainly doesn't like her either.

Well, this has ended up being some interesting CR for Raye.

Raye views Lily as a weird combination of both a (friendly) rival and somebody she can trust with whatever crap is on her mind. She's not quite at full disclosure yet, but talking about stupid and/or troubling Echoes? Sure, she can do that. It helps that Lily giving her that vote of confidence after the Wise Snake battle and outright saying she felt okay with leaving Locke City with Raye looking after it quite possibly meant more than she expects. That kind of talk has been pretty rare in Raye's life up to this point.

She's also stirred up Raye's competitive side so be prepared to be challenged to a match once she figures Life Fiber Synchronize out!

Probably not as much as she should! Mostly because I hadn't had any good log ideas.

(I need to get her almost electrocuted at some point so she can echo back immunity to lightning.)

Marina and Rakka's interactions have been scattered and few. Even so, Rakka's pretty sure Marina is a nice person, if really angry sometimes and a little rude. Of course, Rakka will still try to be nice, unless she ever does something out of line in her eyes.

Can we discuss how much I love Robyn? No? Okay, moving on!

Lucy absolutely adores Robyn so far. She's well on her way to latching onto the other girl and becoming a semi-permanent extension. Anais and Marina are unlikely to share Lucy's enthusiasm in the whole superhero department, so I'm really super stoked someone else is entertaining Lucy's fairly ridiculous attitudes towards the whole Numbered thing.

So, while I definitely want to keep going forward with that bit of ridiculousness, I'd also really like for Robyn to become a confidant to Lucy, particularly when dealing with issues related to Anais and Marina -- and her older brother. She really needs someone who's an "outsider" to give her a level-headed opinion on things.

Um, can we also have more stupid note exchanges in class? I'm fairly sure that if Lucy continues goofing off in classes, her grades are going to drop significantly.

tl;dr: Can Robyn and Lucy be besties?

JERK!

He has a lot of feelings about Neil and they not all positive! First off, he's really thankful for having him alongside on the battlefield because he wouldn't know what to do half the time otherwise. He appreciates his military background, in that, he knows he can count on him to have his back. He respects Neil for that too, and because they were the only two most senior among the pilots, he refers to him a lot for decision making and such.

However, he's also annoyed with his carelessness (like announcing his name to the world) and in his opinion, blindly trusting the FBI. He understands where he comes from but it still irks him that despite his experience, he doesn't seems to understand that there's a real possibility the FBI might be corrupt too. Two sides of a coin really. Eugen is skeptical and Neil is more trusting.

But despite all that disagreement, he would stand by him in time of troubles, and fight beside him. That echo he glimpsed on also makes him feels slightly more protective of him (and now he's going to be doubly confused because of Lyle's arrival) for fear of it being something really bad BUT HE'S NOT TALKING ABOUT THAT ECHO. So beyond being annoyed with him regularly, he still looks out for him and wants to know more about him.

When she's not (easily) getting under Raye's skin, Marina's pretty alright. Unfortunately, it's way too easy to get under Raye's skin.

Quit calling her a rocket stripper! And no more insinuating that Harper's trying to flirt with her. It's never gonna happen.
