This excludes real persons, personal accounts, and so on. Doubles of characters that are already in the game are fine. If you're uncertain, please ask!
• Visiting characters can enter the game as canon versions or StE-AUs.
• Visitors will have access to the network.
• Both types of visitors may not leave the echo boundaries (Locke City (America), Las Vegas (America), the Neuschwanstein Area (Germany/Austria), Lapland (Finland) and the Christmas Island (Australia) (for brief descriptions of the locations check the setting page). Waiting to Save The Earth

Your character has died of causes known or unknown to canon, and they know they're dead. But instead of wherever they're supposed to go in canon, if anywhere, they're in a Fluffy Cloud Heaven, with endless white clouds and blue skies. Normal equipment and clothing are gone, but they're supplied with possibly-skimpy white robes or even just ribbon, optional pitchforks or musical instruments, and dossiers about their reincarnations. Don't drop those! You can't get through the clouds until your time!

Characters get either white feathery wings and gold-ring halos, or horns and barbed tails. Already have either? Too bad, they get more. Otherwise they may or may not look like they did at death, but if they died of violence wounds are painless, replaced by glowy white scars, and possibly healing more and more the longer they've been here.

Practice your harp. Investigate mysteriously impassable gates. Fly if you can. Climb cloud mountains. ...Is that a fully-stocked bar? And chat with your fellows waiting to drop through the clouds and reincarnate. Doesn't matter if they're born decades apart! Or even aren't actually in the game yet - hey, for all we know they're in-game and Echoless.

Type of CR: More members of the very extensive Thorsson family (currently has 5 player characters). I'd especially love for someone to pick up the family patriarch's (Thorin Oakenshield) wife. You absolutely don't have to be a Tolkien character, we'd love non-Tolkiens in the family.
Character looking: Thorir is almost 54, his younger brother Hjalti and Hjalti's son Killian as well as their sister's son Fil are also in game, as is Thorir's wife's niece Ariel. The family is (upper) middle class, and despite having lived in America for a while now has a very strong Icelandic heritage though there's Irish on Killian's other side and plain American on Fil's and Ariel's other sides as well.
Type of CR: Julien's father. He's midfifties, very wealthy, charming, not exactly concerned with other people, has three white grandparents and one Japanese grandparent.
Character looking: Julien is 25 and hasn't had any contact with his father since he was five years old and doesn't want contact. He's very visibly numbered now, though.
Type of CR: Any Mid-Boss could be Laharl's dad if they want to. He lives in Vegas and owns Brightlight Castle and Casino.
Character looking: Laharl "Harley" Shadie. Lives in Vegas with his father, owner of Brightlight Castle and Casino-- known as "The King" from it's medieval English castle theme.
Type of CR: Two younger brothers (unspecified ages, but no older than 27 and probably not much younger than 18-ish) and a father, all currently residents of Chicago. But that can change. Also any current or past students are welcome!
Sheila Go's a Locke High School history teacher with a sharp tongue and an unfortunate habit for living above her means.
Type of CR: People who worked or stayed in White Pines psychiatric hospital between 2007 and 2009, and also... relatives! Relatives would be great, even distant-ass ones. Cousins, aunts, uncles, maternal grandparents, half-siblings.
Character looking: Lazarus "L" Lawliet is the reincarnation of Death Note's L. A homeschooled orphan raised by his exploitative uncle, he got a lot of early attention as a chess prodigy and for his high intelligence, which he applied toward accelerated coursework with the goal of becoming a police detective. Sadly, he suffered a nervous breakdown in his late teens, just one semester short of earning his master's degree in Criminal Justice, and he had to take a "rest" at a psychiatric hospital... which lasted almost three years. When he got out he tried to resume the life he'd wanted but got rejected from the police academy, and this started a downward spiral of untreated mental illness and substance abuse. On the edge of homelessness and struggling through the 17th draft of a derivative and ridiculous detective novel, he started getting echoes consistently, and was immediately humbled by the impressive nature of his preincarnate. The detective L was a wonder who inspired awe in the lackluster Lazarus, but the more he gets of the picture, the more Lazarus is starting to realize that his "heroic detective who saved children" has something of a darker side. Nevertheless, he's working to balance his own self-destructive nature with the good he knows he can do with L's skills and traits.
